Host Team
The Host Team makes Freedom Church feel like home to every person who walks through our doors. The environment we create goes far beyond big smiles, a friendly greeting, and hot coffee–we believe God uses the Host Team to set the stage to reach more people and change lives.
From the roadside welcome, to the front door, right through to the auditorium experience, the Host Team helps people to feel welcome in Freedom Church.
Responsibilities include;
• setting out the roadside signage,
• preparing the event space,
• welcoming people at the front door,
• helping guests find a seat, and whatever else they may need.
• Making sure every person is in a discussion group.
Production
We love our production team! They each play a vital part in making Sundays happen with excellence, by creating worship environments and helping us deliver the gospel without distraction in order to impact lives forever.
Responsibilities include;
• Sound engineer - operates the sound board, mixes audio for the service and works with the Worship team to ensure a smooth Sunday Service
• Video production - controls any video production necessary for the Sunday Service to ensure a smooth Sunday Service


Social Media
Our social media team is all about relentlessly reaching the city of Birmingham with the message of God’s love. We refuse to wait for people to walk through our doors—instead, we actively bring our vision and hope directly to the community through engaging, creative content. Our passion is to be a light in Birmingham by leveraging every digital platform to communicate love, purpose, and the invitation to enter a life-changing relationship with Jesus.
We are determined to stay relevant to our time, creating content that not only stands out but also resonates deeply with a diverse city. Every post, story, and caption is a step towards building a vibrant, connected community. Come join our social media team and experience the incredible journey of seeing God reach people!
Kids team
Freedom Kids is one team with three areas. The members of this team have a heart for kids and a desire to see them have a genuine relationship with God, build a biblical foundation for their lives, grow with friends and leaders, and love being at church. Note: Volunteering on the kids' team will require safeguarding training and relevant background checks.
Cubs
The Cubs Team invests in the lives of children who are ages 2-4 by allowing them to discover and develop a passion for God through hands-on activities, teaching, prayer, and games.
Adventurers
The Adventurer Team invests in the lives of children who are aged 5-11 by allowing them to discover and develop a passion for God through Bible teaching, worship, small groups, prayer, and games.
Responsibilities include;
• Preparing the Kids' Rooms
• Delivering the weekly room plan (provided by your team leader)
• Assisting in registering first-time families,
• Cleaning up Kids' Rooms after Sunday Event.
